Wild bergamot (monarda fistulosa)

The honey plant or bee balm, is much loved by bees and support colonies with wonderful nectar. Masses of fragrant, summer blooming, pink lavender flowers, will look beautiful n your gardens, pots, and wildflower meadows. A clump forming perennial that returns each year and makes a great medicinal tea, from the mint family. 

Meadow crane’s bill (geranium pratense)

With a nectar secretion rate of 1.5mg every 24 hrs, these wonderful flowers provide bees with an essential source of food for producing honey. Abundant clusters of beautiful, large blue, or violet flowers form early spring. Finely cut leaves add texture to gardens that form a dramatic mound in herbaceous borders and wildlife meadows.  

Cornflower (centaurea cyanus)

Also known as bachelor's button, it is a beautiful, easy to grow, wildflower, native to the UK, that blends wonderfully into wildlife gardens, meadows, and cottage garden styles. They are rich in nectar and ideal for bees and cut flower arrangements or sprinkle the petals over salads, omelettes and pasta too!

Wild foxglove (digitalis purpurea)

This native European woodland biennial flower has beautiful tall spikes of bright pink-purple, bell-shaped flowers, the insides of which are dotted with distinctive dark spots ringed with white - perfect landing spots for bees!
